The Art of Chinese Jade (Nephrite)

        The Chinese using jade as a decorative, protective even meditation item can be traced back from Late Spring and Atutmn Period (777-476 B.C). Jade carvings were worn in the hair, sewn on belts and clotinging and hung on cords to be worn as pendants.
