Mr. Wenhua Zheng (1949 - ) is a well-known woodblock artist in China. He started to create woodblock printings from 1972. Mr. Zhen's woodblcok combined the ancient Chinese stone carving style (especially, the cliff stone painting of Eastern Han Dynasty, A.D. 25-220) with the modern drawing skills. They displayed the originality and the reflection of meaning of life. Many of his woodblock printings have been shown in national art exhibitions and collected by many art museums and galleries. The album (right picture) of his selected woodblock printings was published in 1994. Mr. Zhen is the member of several prestigious art associations such as Chinese Artist Association, Chinese Woodblock Artist Association, et al.
